You are 8 months old!!! You, my dear, are the happiest baby ever on record. I'm sure of it. You smile all the time, and now that you can clap, you clap at everything and for everyone! You hold out your arm and wave "hi" to strangers and just brighten their day! :) You are just joy and encouragement in the form of a baby girl. :) You are getting closer to crawling with every day! As soon as we get our house and you have wide open spaces to practice on, you will be on the move, I'm sure of it! You can now lift your hips off the floor, which scoots you backward, and you can also go into the crawling position from sitting. You babble all the time and mimic all the sounds Ben makes... including his ear piercing screams. This, my dear, is no bueno. We need to stop this ASAP. On the bright side, you have started saying "uh oh" and "ma" when prompted. :)
You love to eat your baby food, and you can now eat Puffs! You had your first Puffs at Grandma and Granddad's house before we moved to Texas and they were a hit!
You still love to grab at everything, and you are quite determined to get ahold of whatever has caught your eye. And in case I haven't mentioned it before, you are freakishly strong. You are also REALLY fast. You keep Daddy and I on our toes, for sure! :)
You now have THREE teeth!!! Tooth #3 just popped through today! It's the top right (my right). You haven't slept through the night in a very long while thanks to these new additions, but I'm hoping maybe one day...soon...we can go back to full nights of slumber. :) You still love to suck your thumb, and by golly it is still so cute!! Your chubby little fist, it just gets me every time. You take your bath at night now in the big tubby with Ben! You guys have the best time in there- it's SO CUTE!
You sure do love your big brother, that's for sure! You often reach out to hold his hand and that is just about the sweetest thing ever. Today in the car he was talking to you and had you just laughing and laughing, your Dad and I just about died it was so cute! :)
Unfortunately, there will be no bear pic this month because your bear was packed with our household goods and is in storage until we get our house... but hopefully we will have it next month for your 9 month picture! :)
